When Collective Order met last year to discuss our plans for the second record, I knew I wanted to write a large ensemble piece. I like writing for different instrumentations, so I formed this large ensemble as an experiment in doubling instrument groups. You can hear this idea with my use of two female voices, two keyboards, two guitars, and two basses. The name "Narcocism" comes from an obsession I have with combining words that I like the sound of.
